Space Preparation (Home Exhibition)

285 Weymouth Rd Exhibition

I've decided to have my exhibition at home because my film is a self portrait, and that my home is the most relevant place for me screen my video because that's where I spend most of my time and its where I'm mostly influenced. Having my screening at my home was easier for my family and friends to attend. I see my self as a street artist more then a gallery artist, I'm always in to making work that would be interesting and would be eye catching to the public. Having my work in an open space I think was a good decision because it was easy access to public and that anyone that drove pass my house was able to witness my creativity.

- A test run on the projection on house.
- the perfect time to screen was 8:30
-the street lights didn't make a lot of difference so it was no problem even with the cars that were driving pass

option 1

This is the back of the house
pros:
It was dark and it would be good fro projection
it has a wider space
cons:
wall was too high and it was had to get the projection on to the wall

option 2

This is the front of the house shooting it straight on to the house,
pros:
it was easy to project the film on the wall
the hill in front of the house would make the perfect viewing spot
and it was more open to public so that anyone that walked pass or drove pass can see whats happening
cons:
Street light were on would be a issue
cars and their head lights

option 3

This was my other option was having the film playing in my room while the people can view it from standing from outside the house.
but the reflection on the window would have made it hard to view the video.
